Dubai: A hotline will be set up between the ministry and educational zones to guarantee continuous communication.

The purpose of the hotline is to avoid any obstacles and problems faced by both educational zones in terms of maintenance and distribution of schoolbooks, said Mohammad Juma Bin Hindi, Executive Director of Institutional and Support Services.

Schools' operation budgets and the financial allocations of cleaning services will soon be distributed. All the educational zones must fill up a common form that will be sent to schools.

Fawzia Hassan, Director of Sharjah Educational Zone, said: "We are currently discussing with the concerned authorities the issue of providing five [public] schools with water and electricity ... We would also like to thank the Ministry of Education for their interests in reassuring the stable conditions of the new teachers, book distribution and distribution of AC machines and furniture in new schools."

The cleaning services are expected to be connected with the fiscal year not the academic year, in order to guarantee the continuous cleaning of schools throughout the year.

"The Ministry of Education also held various meetings with different public and private companies to provide non-profit private schools inside and outside the UAE with returned books after the end of each academic year. We will also provide students with awareness campaigns on the importance of returning books to schools at the end of the year," he added.
