. England re-located to Dubai from the WSPWSP
office in the UK, and boasts more than 37 years experience in the lift industry.
"Previously all projects were handled by our UK office, but due to the large amount of high-rise buildings being built in Dubai and the region, there was an enormous need for us to introduce a dedicated vertical transportation department here," said England.
"The department will handle all aspects of vertical transport from traffic analysis, concept design, schematic design and site services, and will enable us to respond much quicker to any design changes and requirements. It also allows us to have face-to-face ground interaction with our clients in the Middle East, and this is very important to us."
WSP Middle EastWSP Middle East
is looking to expand its' services across the Middle East, as well as India over the coming months, and the company has already been appointed as Vertical Transport consultant on several contracts in India.
"We are extremely excited about the future prospects in the Middle East, and we are really hoping to push the boundaries in terms of applying the latest innovative engineering solutions to the region," added England.
